19th January, Mumbai: Today, Senvion India, a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, made the announcement that its factory in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, has shipped out its first set of rotor blades. The blades are currently being transported to the JSW Energy site in Tuticorin as part of its 591 MW project.
Blades is a key component for the wind turbine in ensuring performance & reliability during the WTG lifecycle. This 65m blade along with its mould is designed by Senvion’s R&D teams in India and Germany.

19th December, Mumbai: Senvion, a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, has been awarded a 102.6 MW project to deliver its high-quality Wind Turbines for Tata Power Saurya Limited (TPSL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited. TPSL has recently won a 300 MW Wind Solar Hybrid project to supply power to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL). The project will be developed in Koral, Maharashtra.
The project will comprise of 38 numbers of Senvion’s State-of-the-art 2.7 MW turbines. These machines will harness energy at 130 meters. The project also comes with a 25-year Fleet-Pro™ O&M contract as an option, which is Senvion’s comprehensive maintenance program for its installed turbines. Fleet-Pro delivers high quality digital interface with turbines, on-line prognosis and diagnosis and prompt service to realize full potential of the wind farm.

1st Nov 2022, Mumbai: Senvion, a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, has been awarded a 48.6 MW project to deliver its high-quality Wind Turbines to Fourth Partner Energy. Senvion turbines will be deployed across Fourth Partner’s renewable energy projects for Commercial & Industrial consumers.
The project will comprise of 18 of Senvion’s State-of-the-art 2.7MW turbines. These machines will harness energy at 130 meters. Key factors in the award of the contract to Senvion included a competitive product due to high-level of indigenization, technical strength, and quality. The project is to be located in the state of Karnataka and expected to be completed by July 2023. Senvion’s scope include supply of the Turbines and Erection & Commissioning. The power from the project will serve the C&I; consumers of the Fourth Partner Energy, aiding them to accomplish their decarbonization goals.

3rd September Mumbai: Senvion, a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, has today announced flagging off its first nacelle of its 2.7MW machine from its factory in Baramati, Maharashtra. Senvion 2.7MW machine is customized for Indian conditions and is engineered to harness the wind potential of the site to its optimal. The first turbine was handed over to JSW Energy.
With this, Senvion commences delivery of the turbines for one of its largest contracts in India for 591MW for JSW Energy.

28th Feb 2022, Mumbai: Senvion India announces the completion of the tests and enlisting of its new machine 2.3M130/2.7MW. Senvion became one of the rare OEMs to install prototype in India. The Prototype is installed in Tithwa Gujarat. The new machine will generate power at a height of 130 m with a Rotor of 130m.
Senvion India achieved its Type Certificate on 3rd of December 2021 and now has been enlisted in the Revised List of Model Manufacturers (RLMM) , which means it’s now commercially available to be connected to grid. We thank Ministry of N ew and Renewable Energy and National Institute of Wind Energy in providing guidance and support in this journey.

a 591 MW project to deliver its high-quality Wind Turbines for JSW Energy. Senvion turbines
will be deployed in JSW Energy’s ongoing pipeline of ~ 2.5 GW of renewable projects which are
under construction.
The project will comprise of Senvion’s State-of-the-art 2.7MW turbines. When fully deployed
these wind turbines will produce enough clean energy to supply the power needs of over 450,000
Indian homes. Key factors in the award of the contract to Senvion included a competitive product
due to high-level of indigenization, technical strength, and quality. The delivery of the turbines
will start from H1 of 2022.
The project also comes with a 10-year Fleet-ProTM O&M contract, which is Senvion
comprehensive maintenance program for its installed turbines. Fleet-Pro delivers high quality

19th May 2021, Mumbai: Senvion India has secured a ten-year Operations and Maintenance contract for a combined 25 wind turbines [54 MW] for five windfarms in India. The wind farms belong to the Malpani Group. Under this renewal contract Senvion will deliver its comprehensive maintenance solutions for a period of 10 years starting from May 2021.

3rd December 2020, Germany/Mumbai: Senvion GmbH has entered into contractual agreements for the sale of 100% of its Indian operations (“Senvion India”) on 01 December 2020. Senvion had previously ringfenced the Senvion India business,which is a full-fledged Wind OEM and in the business of WTG manufacturing, turnkey EPC solutions with project development, O&M and Asset Management, from its self-administration process.
The transaction envisages the transfer of complete ownership of Senvion India along with all assets such as the factory, installed base of O&M andcurrent ongoing projects, intellectual property rights relevant for the Indian marketand its strong 300+ teamsize.
The acquiring entity, GREDHCL (Global Renewable Energy Development Holding Company Limited) is a fund based out of the Dubai International Financial Centre and subject to regulatory approvals, the sale is proposed to close in Q1-2021. EY acts as financial advisor to GREDHCL and Rothschild & Co acts as financial advisors to Senvion GmbH in this transaction.
