SENVION FLAGS OFF FIRST NACELLE FOR 2.7MW TURBINE

With this, Senvion commences delivery of the turbines for one of its largest contracts in India for 591MW for JSW Energy.

3rd September Mumbai:Senvion, a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, has today announced flagging off its first nacelle of its 2.7MW machine from its factory in Baramati, Maharashtra. Senvion 2.7MW machine is customized for Indian conditions and is engineered to harness the wind potential of the site to its optimal. The first turbine was handed over to JSW Energy.

Amit Kansal, MD & CEO, of Senvion India,said: "It’s a moment we have been working for, at Senvion for last 1 year. 2.7MW turbine is now in Serial production and Senvion factory is ready to deliver 1GW/year of wind turbines to our customers.
