Test & Validation Engineer - Power Performance Measurements

Qualification:

  • B. E – Electrical /Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Wind Resource Assessment
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge on Power Curve, Error Codes, Algorithm, SCADA, DATA Analysis, data loggers and sensors
  • Technical lead to conduct PCVT for wind farm construction/operational site as per respective IEC standards. Participating Customer Meetings on Power Curve Issues and ensure the necessary reports to customer and resolving the power curve issues by coordinating with other departments
  • Monitoring the operating wind farms regularly for ensuring the WTG behaviour as per the WTG design
  • Analysing of the WTGs data in a wind farm via SCADA system based on the Technical Control Centre input to divide the power curve problems and report to OM and respective function to take corrective action intime
  • Preparation of precise calculations of contractual indicators in a report format and conducting regular wind farm reliability meetings with internal and external customers, maintain project processes involving technical and commercial responses to internal and external customers
