Senvion India and KP Group Sign Framework Agreement to Develop Up to 2,000 MW Wind and Wind–Solar Hybrid Projects Across India
Mumbai, 14 November 2025 Senvion India, which operates under the strategic ownership of Global Renewable Energy Development Holding Company Limited (GREDHCL), a Dubai-based investment arm of the Alfanar Group, and KP Group represented by KPI Green Energy Limited, KP Energy Limited and KP Green Engineering Limited have entered into framework agreement to jointly develop up to 2,000 MW of wind and wind–solar hybrid projects across multiple Indian states over the next three years.
The collaboration is rooted in a customer-first approach: to deliver a turnkey-like experience that integrates development, turbine supply, erection, and commissioning into a streamlined process, accelerating execution, reducing hand-offs, and ensuring clear accountability.
Through this agreement KP Group will lead site identification and development, including land acquisition, permits and approvals, and the full Balance of Plant (BoP) scope, covering civil works, internal roads, foundations, electrical systems up to interconnection, and grid evacuation approvals. Both partners will continue to operate independently within their defined roles under this collaboration.
Senvion India will be the supplier of wind turbine generators, contracted through project-specific supply agreements.
