Mumbai, India | August 25, 2026 – alfanar group today announced an additional direct capital funding of USD 100 million (~INR 950 crore) in Senvion, with the first tranche of USD 34 million (~INR 320 Cr.) received in August 2026 and the rest of the direct capital funding to be completed in couple of weeks’ time, to support the company's next phase of technology-led and manufacturing-driven growth.
The funding will support strategic priorities including development of Senvion's long-term product roadmap, growth capital to support and drive Senvion’s growing business in India and global markets and accelerating the development of its project pipeline through the ‘Senvion Certified Sites’ offering.
The funding reinforces alfanar group’s long-term commitment to the "Make in India" initiative and its confidence in India's emergence as a global hub for renewable energy manufacturing, innovation, and technology development.
